- Assist the Pharmacy Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy department.
- Ensure that all pharmacy operations are in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
- Supervise and train pharmacy staff to maintain high-quality customer service and efficient workflow.
- Monitor inventory levels and order medications and supplies as needed.
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and quality of service.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient information and medication orders.
- Assist in processing and filling prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and safety of medications.
- Stay up-to-date with industry changes and new developments in pharmacy practices.
- Provide guidance and support to pharmacy team members, including technicians and interns.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the pharmacy department.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and insurance companies.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medications according to established guidelines.
