Pharmacy Lead Technician

1. Assist the Pharmacy Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy department.
2. Ensure that all pharmacy operations are in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
3. Supervise and train pharmacy staff to maintain high-quality customer service and efficient workflow.
4. Monitor inventory levels and order medications and supplies as needed.
5. Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
6. Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and quality of service.
7. Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient information and medication orders.
8. Assist in processing and filling prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
9. Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and safety of medications.
10. Stay up-to-date with industry changes and new developments in pharmacy practices.
11. Provide guidance and support to pharmacy team members, including technicians and interns.
12. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the pharmacy department.
13. Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and insurance companies.
14. Ensure proper storage and handling of medications according to established guidelines.
15. Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
