- Oversee daily operations in the pharmacy department, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Lead and supervise a team of pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication inventory, including ordering and restocking as needed.
- Assist in the training and development of new pharmacy technicians.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with pharmacists to accurately fill and dispense prescriptions.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy department.

- Work closely with the pharmacy manager to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.

- Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned by management.
Certified Pharmacy Technician: A Pharmacy Lead Technician At Kroger Must Have A Valid Certification As A Pharmacy Technician From A Recognized Institution.
Prior Experience: Candidates For This Position Must Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As A Pharmacy Technician, Preferably In A Leadership Role.
Knowledge Of Pharmacy Operations: A Strong Understanding Of Pharmacy Operations, Including Prescription Processing, Inventory Management, And Customer Service, Is Essential For A Pharmacy Lead Technician At Kroger.
Strong Communication Skills: This Role Requires Frequent Interaction With Customers, Pharmacists, And Other Team Members. Therefore, Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Crucial For This Position.
Leadership And Team Management: As A Lead Technician, The Candidate Must Possess Strong Leadership Skills And Be Able To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team Of Pharmacy Technicians. Experience In Training And Supervising Other Technicians Is Highly Desirable For This Role.
