  1. Oversee daily operations in the pharmacy department, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
  2. Lead and supervise a team of pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
  3. Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication inventory, including ordering and restocking as needed.
  5. Assist in the training and development of new pharmacy technicians.
  6. Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  7. Collaborate with pharmacists to accurately fill and dispense prescriptions.
  8. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy department.
  9. Troubleshoot any technical or operational issues that may arise within the pharmacy.
  10. Act as a role model for the team, upholding the highest standards of patient care and professionalism.
  11. Keep up-to-date with industry developments and changes in pharmacy practices.
  12. Work closely with the pharmacy manager to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  13. Participate in staff meetings and trainings as required.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  15. Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician: A Pharmacy Lead Technician At Kroger Must Have A Valid Certification As A Pharmacy Technician From A Recognized Institution.

  • Prior Experience: Candidates For This Position Must Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As A Pharmacy Technician, Preferably In A Leadership Role.

  • Knowledge Of Pharmacy Operations: A Strong Understanding Of Pharmacy Operations, Including Prescription Processing, Inventory Management, And Customer Service, Is Essential For A Pharmacy Lead Technician At Kroger.

  • Strong Communication Skills: This Role Requires Frequent Interaction With Customers, Pharmacists, And Other Team Members. Therefore, Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Crucial For This Position.

  • Leadership And Team Management: As A Lead Technician, The Candidate Must Possess Strong Leadership Skills And Be Able To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team Of Pharmacy Technicians. Experience In Training And Supervising Other Technicians Is Highly Desirable For This Role.
