- Perform routine maintenance tasks including but not limited to: painting, plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections of store facilities to identify and resolve any potential maintenance issues.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from store managers and other team members.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems such as HVAC, refrigeration, and lighting.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance tasks and repairs completed.
- Communicate effectively with store management and other team members regarding maintenance needs and updates.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies in order to improve efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance tasks.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete maintenance projects and tasks within designated time frames.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with customers and employees.
- Assist in training and mentoring new maintenance technicians as needed.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for maintenance tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned by store management or corporate leadership.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Maintenance Technician At Kroger Should Possess At Least A High School Diploma Or Equivalent To Demonstrate Basic Knowledge And Skills In Areas Such As Mathematics, Reading, And Problem-Solving.
Previous Maintenance Experience: Ideally, A Maintenance Technician At Kroger Should Have Prior Experience In Building Maintenance Or A Related Field, With Knowledge Of Electrical, Plumbing, And Hvac Systems.
Strong Troubleshooting Skills: The Ability To Quickly Identify And Resolve Maintenance Issues Is Crucial For A Maintenance Technician At Kroger, As They Will Be Responsible For Keeping Equipment And Facilities In Optimal Working Condition.
