1. Provide legal counsel and guidance on all labor and employment matters to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
2. Conduct legal research and analysis to stay current with changes in labor and employment laws and regulations.
3. Develop and implement company policies and procedures pertaining to labor and employment.
4. Collaborate with HR and management teams to resolve employment-related issues and disputes.
5. Represent the company in legal proceedings related to labor and employment.
6. Conduct internal investigations related to labor and employment issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
7. Advise on hiring, termination, and disciplinary actions to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
8. Draft and review employment contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and other legal documents related to labor and employment.
9. Train and educate management and employees on labor and employment laws and regulations.
10. Monitor and ensure compliance with diversity and inclusion initiatives.
11. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to labor and employment matters.
12. Provide timely and effective legal advice and support to all levels of the organization.
13. Stay informed on emerging trends and best practices in labor and employment law.
14. Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed.
