FRONT END/CASHIER

We are searching for a friendly and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front End/Cashier at Kroger. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating cash registers, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. 1. Greet and welcome customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
2. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns.
3. Operate cash registers and ensure accuracy in all transactions.
4. Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments and provide correct change to customers.
5. Keep checkout area clean and organized at all times.
6. Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently.
7. Ensure proper pricing and item codes are applied to items.
8. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of necessary supplies.
9. Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining store appearance.
10. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
11. Maintain knowledge of products and promotions to effectively assist customers.
12. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
13. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the front end.
14. Follow all cash handling procedures, including balancing cash drawers and preparing deposits.
15. Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales goals and customer satisfaction targets.
16. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
17. Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
18. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
