Job Description

This position requires a highly organized individual with exceptional customer service skills and a knack for numbers.   1. Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Provide excellent customer service by addressing and resolving any customer inquiries or concerns.
  3. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized front end area.
  5. Assist with bagging and loading groceries for customers.
  6. Perform bookkeeping duties including counting and reconciling cash drawers, preparing daily deposits, and tracking store sales.
  7. Ensure all front-end equipment is functioning properly and report any issues to management.
  8. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety, sanitation, and cash handling.
  9. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient customer checkout process.
  10. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  11. Continuously strive to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  12. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  13. Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.
  14. Assist with training new front-end employees.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency In Accounting Software: A Strong Candidate For The Front End/Bookkeeper Position At Kroger Should Possess Experience And Proficiency In Using Accounting Software Such As Quickbooks Or Microsoft Excel.

  • Attention To Detail: As A Front End/Bookkeeper, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing Financial Records And Transactions. Therefore, A High Level Of Attention To Detail Is Essential To Ensure Accuracy And Prevent Errors.
