FLORAL/CLERK

We are currently seeking a Floral Clerk to join our team and help us create beautiful displays of fresh flowers and plants. 1. Assist customers with selecting and purchasing flowers and plants, providing excellent customer service at all times.
2. Create and maintain attractive floral displays throughout the store, ensuring they are stocked, organized, and well-maintained.
3. Order and receive new shipments of flowers and plants, inspecting for quality and freshness.
4. Design and arrange unique and eye-catching bouquets for special occasions and events.
5. Maintain proper care and handling of all floral products, including watering, trimming, and cleaning.
6. Keep track of inventory levels and communicate with management when products need to be restocked.
7. Ensure all pricing and signage for floral products is accurate and up-to-date.
8. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines when handling and preparing floral products.
9. Collaborate with other departments, such as the bakery and deli, to create cohesive displays and cross-promote products.
10. Stay up-to-date on current trends and techniques in the floral industry to continuously improve displays and offerings.
11. Provide training and guidance to new floral clerks as needed.
12. Work efficiently and effectively to meet daily sales and productivity goals.
13. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
14. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including floral storage and preparation areas.
15. Perform any other duties assigned by management to contribute to the overall success of the floral department and store.
