  1. Lead and manage a team of employees in the assigned department, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and maximize profitability for the department.
  3. Ensure that all customer service standards are met or exceeded, and handle any customer complaints or issues in a timely and effective manner.
  4. Monitor inventory levels and work with the inventory control team to maintain accurate stock levels.
  5. Create and maintain a clean and organized department, following all safety and sanitation guidelines.
  6. Train team members on product knowledge and merchandising techniques to ensure a visually appealing and well-stocked department.
  7. Collaborate with other department leaders and store management to ensure a cohesive and efficient store operation.
  8. Regularly review and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and make necessary adjustments.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  10. Act as a role model for the team by demonstrating a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to exceptional customer service.
  11. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment for all team members.
  12. Communicate effectively with upper management to provide updates on department performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  13. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
  14. Continuously seek out opportunities for personal and professional development.
  15. Other duties as assigned by store management.
