DELI/CLERK

As a Deli/Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and organized deli department. 1. Greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Ensuring that the deli department is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
3. Providing excellent customer service by assisting customers with their orders, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
4. Preparing and packaging deli items such as meats, cheeses, and sandwiches according to customer requests and company standards.
5. Maintaining proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the quality and freshness of all deli products.
6. Operating deli equipment such as slicers, ovens, and fryers in a safe and efficient manner.
7. Monitoring and managing inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and minimizing waste.
8. Following cash handling procedures and accurately processing customer transactions.
9. Collaborating with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the deli department.
10. Maintaining a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
11. Adhering to all company policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation guidelines.
12. Continuously learning about new deli products and sharing knowledge with customers.
13. Keeping up-to-date with current promotions and specials to inform customers.
14. Assisting with other duties as assigned by the manager.
