1. Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store.
2. Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with their purchases and answering any questions they may have.
3. Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently using the cash register.
4. Handle cash, credit and debit card transactions with precision and honesty.
5. Ensure that customers are charged the correct prices for their purchases.
6. Keep the checkout area clean, organized and well-stocked at all times.
7. Assist in resolving any customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
8. Promote store loyalty programs and encourage customers to sign up for them.
9. Participate in store inventory and restocking activities as needed.
10. Follow all safety and security procedures to prevent any loss or theft.
11. Maintain a positive and friendly attitude towards customers and coworkers.
12. Stay updated on store promotions, policies, and products to provide accurate information to customers.
13. Take initiative to suggest and implement ideas for improving customer experience and increasing efficiency.
14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to cash handling and safety protocols.
15. Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales goals and targets set by management.
