Barista

Welcome to the Kroger team! We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our coffee bar. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious and visually appealing coffee beverages for our customers. We are looking for someone who is passionate about coffee, has excellent customer service skills, and is able to work in a fast-paced environment. If you are a team player with a positive attitude and have previous experience as a barista, we would love to have you on our team!

1. Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos, to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
2. Maintain a high level of quality and consistency in beverage preparation, following company standards and recipes.
3. Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking their orders and answering any questions they may have.
4. Ensure the coffee bar is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times, including restocking ingredients and supplies as needed.
5. Take and process customer payments accurately and efficiently.
6. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow, especially during busy periods.
7. Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
8. Stay up-to-date on coffee trends and offerings, and make recommendations to customers based on their preferences.
9. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
10. Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed.
11. Train and mentor new team members on coffee preparation techniques and customer service standards.
12. Follow company policies and procedures, including cash handling, safety protocols, and dress code.
13. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the company in a positive light.
14. Continuously strive to improve skills and knowledge through training and development opportunities.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
