  1. Develop and implement effective security protocols and procedures to protect company assets, employees, and customers.
  2. Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
  3. Collaborate with store management and other departments to ensure all security measures are being followed and maintained.
  4. Oversee and manage a team of asset protection associates, providing guidance and training as needed.
  5. Investigate and resolve incidents of theft, fraud, and other security violations.
  6. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in asset protection and implement any necessary changes to enhance security measures.
  7. Monitor and analyze data to identify patterns or trends related to asset protection and make recommendations for improvement.
  8. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior management, to report on security issues and provide updates on current security measures.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with external law enforcement agencies and other security professionals.
  10. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  11. Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to security incidents and investigations.
  12. Stay informed about local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to asset protection and ensure compliance.
  13. Serve as a role model for the team, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and ethical behavior at all times.
  14. Handle escalated customer complaints and provide exceptional customer service.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve security processes and procedures to mitigate risks and improve overall effectiveness.
