- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounts receivable department.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all accounts receivable transactions.
- Monitor and analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts receivable process.
- Train and supervise a team of accounts receivable professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to resolve any customer billing issues or inquiries.
- Review and approve credit applications and set credit limits for new and existing customers.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Prepare and present reports on accounts receivable performance to upper management.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure timely and accurate collections.
- Forecast and monitor cash flow to effectively manage accounts receivable collections.
- Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies and processes to improve the accounts receivable function.
- Monitor industry trends and regulations related to accounts receivable and make recommendations for adjustments to company policies and procedures.
- Ensure all accounts receivable records are accurate, up-to-date, and in compliance with accounting standards.
- Handle any escalated customer issues and work towards a resolution in a timely and professional manner.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Accounts Receivable Management.
Strong Knowledge Of Accounting Principles And Practices, Specifically Related To Accounts Receivable.
Proven Experience In Managing A Team And Handling High Volume Transactions.
