1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounts receivable department.
2. Ensure timely and accurate processing of all accounts receivable transactions.
3. Monitor and analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
4. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts receivable process.
5. Train and supervise a team of accounts receivable professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
6. Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to resolve any customer billing issues or inquiries.
7. Review and approve credit applications and set credit limits for new and existing customers.
8. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
9. Prepare and present reports on accounts receivable performance to upper management.
10. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure timely and accurate collections.
11. Forecast and monitor cash flow to effectively manage accounts receivable collections.
12. Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies and processes to improve the accounts receivable function.
13. Monitor industry trends and regulations related to accounts receivable and make recommendations for adjustments to company policies and procedures.
14. Ensure all accounts receivable records are accurate, up-to-date, and in compliance with accounting standards.
15. Handle any escalated customer issues and work towards a resolution in a timely and professional manner.
