- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the raw materials and packaging supplies used in our production processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data to accurately forecast the demand for raw materials and packaging supplies.
- Create and maintain procurement plans for raw materials and packaging supplies, taking into consideration lead times, inventory levels, and production schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production needs.
- Negotiate and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality standards.
- Coordinate with production and quality control teams to resolve any material-related issues that may arise.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as inventory levels, supplier performance, and production efficiencies.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments in raw materials and packaging supplies to make informed procurement decisions.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to raw materials and packaging supplies.
Experience In Supply Chain Management: A Successful Raw And Packaging Material Planner At Kraft Heinz Should Have Experience In Supply Chain Management, Including Knowledge Of Inventory Management, Demand Forecasting, And Production Planning.
