Paralegal - Labor & Employment

1. Conduct legal research and provide thorough analysis on labor and employment laws and regulations.
2. Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
3. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with employment-related laws and regulations.
4. Manage and maintain legal documents and files related to labor and employment matters.
5. Provide support in conducting investigations of employee complaints and concerns.
6. Draft and review employee handbook policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws.
7. Assist in the preparation and review of employment-related contracts and agreements.
8. Attend meetings and take notes to assist with the preparation of legal strategies.
9. Communicate with external parties, such as government agencies and outside counsel, as needed.
10. Participate in the development and implementation of training programs for employees on various labor and employment topics.
11. Stay informed about changes in labor and employment laws and regulations and provide updates to the legal team.
12. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
13. Collaborate with other paralegals and legal assistants to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
14. Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing documents.
15. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment within the legal team and across departments.
