- Develop and execute material plans in accordance with production schedules and customer demand.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials to support production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and logistics, to coordinate material flow and resolve any supply chain issues.
- Conduct regular analysis of material usage, lead times, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels, material movements, and supplier information.
- Communicate with suppliers to confirm delivery schedules, resolve any discrepancies, and negotiate pricing and terms.
- Stay updated on market trends and changes in supplier capabilities to proactively identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs within the supply chain.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to materials management.
- Train and mentor junior team members on material planning processes and procedures.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to support overall business goals and objectives.
- Represent the company in a professional and positive manner when interacting with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate supplier performance to maintain high levels of quality and reliability.
- Monitor and manage material budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and budget compliance.
- Provide regular reports and updates on material planning activities and performance metrics to management.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Material Planning And Inventory Management.
Proficiency In Sap Or Other Materials Management Software.
Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Cross-Functionally With Various Departments And External Suppliers.
