Operate- maintain- troubleshoot and repair operational equipment within the designated area. Complete work orders associated with assigned equipment. Perform preventative maintenance of all assigned equipment to assure maximum equipment effectiveness. Assist in monitoring and communicating specific spare parts needs- utilizing Standard Operating Procedures in the removal and ordering of storeroom parts or supplies. Provides solutions to issues or opportunities that contribute to the operation in the areas of Quality- Safety and Productivity.
Two years as a mechanic on packaging machinery in an industrial plant or manufacturing facility
Skilled in the areas of welding- pipe fitting- gearbox/coupling and troubleshooting
The ability to read and interpret blueprints or other forms of engineering drawings
