  1. Provide strategic legal advice and support to the business operations in the Netherlands.
  2. Ensure compliance with Dutch labor and employment laws.
  3. Mitigate legal risks and potential liabilities.
  4. Conduct legal research and analysis to stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
  5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures.
  6. Review and negotiate employment contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  7. Advise on employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and terminations.
  8. Handle legal disputes and represent the company in labor and employment-related litigation.
  9. Develop and deliver training programs on labor and employment law compliance for employees and managers.
  10. Monitor changes in labor and employment laws and advise on necessary adjustments to company policies and procedures.
  11. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  12. Build and maintain relationships with external legal counsel and government agencies.
  13. Communicate complex legal concepts and advice in a clear and concise manner to non-legal stakeholders.
  14. Conduct internal investigations and provide recommendations for resolution.
  15. Continuously assess and improve the company's labor and employment practices to ensure alignment with legal requirements and industry best practices.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Dutch Employment Laws And Regulations: A Labor & Employment Counsel Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Dutch Employment Laws And Regulations, Including Collective Bargaining Agreements, Employment Contracts, Discrimination And Harassment Laws, And Termination Procedures.

  • Experience In Labor And Employment Litigation: Kraft Heinz Is Seeking A Candidate With Experience In Labor And Employment Litigation, Including Representing Clients In Labor Disputes, Negotiating Settlements, And Providing Legal Advice On Employment-Related Matters.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills: As A Labor & Employment Counsel, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Employees, Management, And External Legal Counsel. Strong Communication And Negotiation Skills Are Essential For Effectively Resolving Disputes And Providing Legal Advice.

  • Multilingual Proficiency: As A Global Company, Kraft Heinz Values Candidates Who Are Multilingual, Especially Those Who Are Fluent In Dutch And English. This Skill Is Important For Effectively Communicating With Employees And Clients From Different Cultural Backgrounds.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Labor And Employment Law: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Labor And Employment Law, Preferably In A Corporate Or Law Firm Setting. This Experience Should Include Advising On Employee Relations, Drafting Employment Contracts, And Handling Labor Disputes.
