- Develop and implement a strategic plan for capital projects and engineering initiatives in Europe, aligned with the overall company goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage a team of engineers and project managers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the successful execution of projects.
- Monitor and track project progress, budget, and timelines, and provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
- Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, procurement, operations, and quality, to ensure alignment and efficient execution of projects.
- Conduct regular site visits and meetings with project teams to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in project management processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and contractors to support project delivery.
- Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in engineering and project management, and apply them to optimize project outcomes.

Extensive Experience In Project Management: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Managing Capital Projects And Engineering Initiatives, Preferably In The Food And Beverage Industry. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Delivering Complex Projects On Time And Within Budget.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Engineering Principles: A Strong Understanding Of Engineering Principles, Including Process Design, Equipment Selection, And Construction Management, Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Have A Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field And Possess Relevant Certifications.
Financial Acumen: As The Head Of Capital Projects And Engineering, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing Significant Budgets And Ensuring Cost-Effective Project Delivery. Therefore, They Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Financial Principles And Be Able To Develop And Manage Project Budgets Effectively.
Leadership And Team Management Skills: This Role Will Involve Leading A Team Of Engineers, Project Managers, And Contractors, Therefore Strong Leadership And Team Management Skills Are A Must. The Candidate Should Have Experience In Developing And Motivating Teams To Achieve Project Goals And Objectives.
