As the Gerente de EHS, you will be responsible for overseeing the environmental, health, and safety programs at our facilities in Mexico. 1. Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures in accordance with local and federal regulations.
2. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and make recommendations for corrective action.
3. Train employees on EHS protocols and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
4. Investigate and report on any workplace accidents or incidents, and implement corrective measures to prevent future occurrences.
5. Ensure all necessary safety equipment and procedures are in place and regularly maintained.
6. Collaborate with other departments to develop and maintain emergency response plans.
7. Stay up-to-date on EHS regulations and industry best practices to continuously improve the company's safety standards.
8. Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
9. Manage and maintain records of all EHS activities, including accident reports, safety training, and safety data sheets.
10. Communicate regularly with management to provide updates on EHS performance and make recommendations for improvement.
11. Lead and motivate a team of EHS professionals to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for all employees.
12. Conduct regular meetings with employees to promote EHS awareness and address any concerns or suggestions.
13. Collaborate with external agencies and consultants to ensure compliance with all EHS regulations.
14. Develop and manage the EHS budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented.
15. Serve as a point of contact for any EHS-related inquiries or concerns from employees, management, and external parties.
