  1. Design and implement VDI solutions for KPMG's virtual desktop environment.
  2. Ensure maximum efficiency and productivity for employees by maintaining the VDI environment.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the virtual desktop infrastructure.
  4. Collaborate with other members of the team to continuously improve and optimize the VDI environment.
  5. Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends related to virtual desktop infrastructure.
  6. Conduct research and provide recommendations for new VDI solutions to enhance the overall environment.
  7. Develop and maintain documentation for VDI processes and procedures.
  8. Monitor VDI performance and proactively identify and address any potential issues.
  9. Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical support.
  10. Participate in team meetings and provide regular updates on VDI projects and initiatives.
  11. Maintain security and compliance standards for the VDI environment.
  12. Train and assist other team members on VDI technologies and processes.
  13. Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to ensure smooth functioning of the VDI environment.
  14. Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality solutions within the specified deadlines.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve VDI infrastructure to meet business needs and industry best practices.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience In Implementing And Managing Vdi Environments: The Ideal Candidate For A Vdi Engineer Job At Kpmg Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Designing, Implementing, And Managing Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Environments. They Should Be Well-Versed In The Latest Vdi Technologies And Have A Strong Understanding Of Desktop Virtualization Concepts.

  • Knowledge Of Virtualization Technologies: A Vdi Engineer At Kpmg Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Various Virtualization Technologies Such As Vmware, Hyper-V, And Citrix. They Should Have Experience In Deploying Virtual Machines, Managing Virtual Networks, And Configuring Storage For Virtual Environments.

  • Proficiency In Active Directory And Group Policy Management: As Vdi Environments Often Rely On Active Directory And Group Policy For User Authentication And Management, A Vdi Engineer At Kpmg Should Have A Strong Understanding Of These Technologies. They Should Be Able To Design And Implement Group Policies That Align With The Organization's Security And Compliance Requirements.

  • Strong Troubleshooting Skills: A Vdi Engineer At Kpmg Should Have Excellent Problem-Solving And Troubleshooting Skills. They Should Be Able To Identify And Resolve Technical Issues In A Timely Manner And Have A Proactive Approach To Managing And Maintaining Vdi Environments.
