Tax Senior Associate, Japanese Tax Practice

KPMG Japan is seeking an experienced Tax Senior Associate to join our Japanese Tax Practice. We are looking for a motivated and driven individual who is excited to take on the challenge of working with high-profile clients and helping them navigate the complexities of the Japanese taxation system.This position requires a minimum of three years of experience in the Japanese taxation and/or accounting field. The successful candidate must be a certified tax accountant in Japan with knowledge of the Japanese corporate tax system and a proven track record in providing tax services. The ideal candidate must be fluent in both Japanese and English, have exceptional communication and customer service skills, and be able to work both independently and in a team setting. Responsibilities:

1. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on Japanese taxation and accounting matters.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with clients and other professionals at KPMG Japan.
3. Provide tax services in compliance with the Japanese corporate tax system.
4. Foster innovation and new ideas to improve the quality of service to clients.
5. Ensure accurate and timely delivery of tax services.
6. Stay abreast of the latest developments in the Japanese taxation and/or accounting field.
7. Maintain excellent communication and customer service skills.
8. Work both independently and in a team setting.
9. Manage client expectations and deadlines.
10. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
