KPMG is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Sourcing Category Manager to join our team. As the Software/SaaS Category Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the strategic sourcing and procurement activities for one of our most dynamic and rapidly growing categories.   1. Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for the software and SaaS category, in alignment with overall procurement and organizational goals.
  2. Identify and evaluate potential vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with existing vendors to ensure competitive pricing and terms.
  3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their software and SaaS needs and requirements, and develop sourcing strategies to meet those needs.
  4. Stay current with industry trends and innovations in the software and SaaS space, and make recommendations for incorporating new technologies and vendors into the organization.
  5. Drive cost savings and value creation through effective negotiation and management of vendor contracts, while maintaining high quality and service standards.
  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, legal, and finance teams, to ensure alignment and support for sourcing initiatives.
  7. Monitor and report on key performance indicators for the software and SaaS category, and make recommendations for improvement and optimization.
  8. Lead cross-functional sourcing teams and provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  9. Stay abreast of market trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to software and SaaS procurement, and make recommendations for process improvements and compliance.
  10. Act as a subject matter expert for the software and SaaS category, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders on sourcing matters.
  11. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks in vendor relationships and contracts.
  12. Participate in budget planning and forecasting for the software and SaaS category, and track and report on actual spend against budget.
  13. Continuously review and improve sourcing processes and procedures to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.
  14. Represent KPMG in industry events and conferences to build relationships and stay current on market trends and innovations.
  15. Contribute to the overall success and growth of the organization through collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
