As the Strategic Sourcing Category Manager for Software/SaaS, you will play a crucial role in driving our sourcing strategy and managing our relationships with key software and SaaS vendors.   1. Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies for the software/SaaS category, in line with overall company goals and objectives.
  2. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential vendors and evaluate their capabilities, pricing, and quality.
  3. Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with software and SaaS vendors, including pricing, service level agreements, and contract terms.
  4. Manage relationships with key software and SaaS vendors, ensuring timely delivery of products and services and resolving any issues that may arise.
  5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as IT, finance, and legal teams, to understand business needs and align sourcing strategies accordingly.
  6. Continuously monitor and assess market trends and changes in the software/SaaS industry, and adapt sourcing strategies as needed.
  7. Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships, including conducting regular business reviews and identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  8. Manage the entire procurement process, from identifying needs to contract negotiation and vendor selection.
  9. Utilize data and analytics to track and report on key sourcing metrics, such as cost savings, vendor performance, and contract compliance.
  10. Train and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  11. Stay updated on industry best practices and innovations in software/SaaS procurement, and incorporate them into sourcing strategies.
  12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  13. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations, in all sourcing activities.
  14. Represent the company in vendor meetings, conferences, and other industry events as needed.
  15. Work closely with senior management to provide regular updates on sourcing activities and contribute to strategic decision-making.

  • Strong Understanding Of Software And Saas Industry: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Software And Saas Industry, Including Market Trends, Key Players, And Emerging Technologies. This Knowledge Will Be Crucial In Developing Effective Sourcing Strategies And Negotiating Contracts With Software Vendors.

  • Proven Experience In Strategic Sourcing: The Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Managing Strategic Sourcing Projects, Ideally In The Software/Saas Category. This Includes Developing Category Strategies, Identifying Cost-Saving Opportunities, And Managing Vendor Relationships.

  • Excellent Negotiation Skills: A Key Responsibility Of A Strategic Sourcing Category Manager Is Negotiating Contracts With Software Vendors. The Candidate Should Have Strong Negotiation Skills And Be Able To Secure Favorable Terms And Pricing For Kpmg.

  • Project Management Skills: This Role Will Involve Managing Multiple Projects Simultaneously, So The Candidate Should Have Excellent Project Management Skills. This Includes The Ability To Prioritize Tasks, Meet Deadlines, And Manage Resources Effectively.
