  1. Conduct application penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and potential risks for our clients.
  2. Analyze and assess complex systems and applications to determine potential security threats.
  3. Develop comprehensive reports and recommendations based on findings from penetration testing.
  4. Collaborate with clients to understand their unique business needs and provide tailored solutions.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in technology and industry best practices in cybersecurity.
  6. Utilize various tools and techniques to simulate real-world cyber attacks and identify potential weaknesses.
  7. Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement security measures and mitigate risks.
  8. Provide guidance and training to junior team members and assist in their professional development.
  9. Communicate effectively with clients to explain technical concepts and findings in a clear and concise manner.
  10. Participate in client meetings and presentations to present findings and recommendations.
  11. Support the development and implementation of new security protocols and procedures.
  12. Keep accurate records and documentation of all testing procedures and results.
  13. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of the job.
  14. Maintain a strong understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve our penetration testing methodologies and processes.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Application Penetration Testing: A Senior Specialist, Application Penetration Tester At Kpmg Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Conducting Application Penetration Tests On A Variety Of Platforms And Technologies.

  • Strong Technical Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Programming Languages, Web Application Development, And Network Protocols. They Should Also Possess Knowledge Of Common Attack Vectors And Mitigation Techniques.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations: A Senior Specialist, Application Penetration Tester At Kpmg Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Industry Standards And Regulations Such As Owasp, Nist, And Pci Dss. They Should Also Be Familiar With Compliance Requirements For Various Industries Such As Finance, Healthcare, And Government.

  • Certifications: The Candidate Should Hold Relevant Certifications Such As Certified Ethical Hacker (Ceh), Offensive Security Certified Professional (Oscp), Or Giac Web Application Penetration Tester (Gwapt).

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Senior Specialist, Application Penetration Tester Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills And Be Able To Think Critically To Identify Vulnerabilities And Propose Effective Solutions.
