KPMG is seeking a Senior Director, Editor in Chief for our Advisory Insights team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape and drive the editorial strategy for our thought leadership content, helping to position KPMG as a leading voice in the industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing editorial teams, as well as a deep subject matter expertise in the advisory space.   1. Develop and execute an editorial strategy for KPMG's Advisory Insights team.
  2. Lead and manage a team of editors, writers, and content creators to produce high-quality thought leadership content.
  3. Collaborate with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to identify relevant topics and themes for content creation.
  4. Ensure all content is aligned with KPMG's brand and messaging.
  5. Stay informed about industry trends and developments to inform the editorial strategy and ensure thought leadership is timely and relevant.
  6. Oversee the editing and review process to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.
  7. Monitor and analyze the performance of content to inform future editorial decisions.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to source new content ideas and promote thought leadership.
  9. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines for all content.
  10. Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in the advisory industry.
  11. Stay up-to-date with emerging publishing and content creation technologies and techniques.
  12. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote thought leadership content through various channels.
  13. Represent KPMG at industry events and conferences to promote thought leadership and build brand recognition.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve the editorial process to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  15. Develop and manage the editorial budget.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Leadership Skills: A Senior Director, Editor In Chief Must Possess Exceptional Leadership Abilities To Effectively Manage A Team Of Editors And Writers. This Includes The Ability To Provide Direction, Delegate Tasks, And Motivate Team Members.

  • Extensive Experience In Editorial Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Editorial Management, Preferably In A Consulting Or Advisory Setting. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing Editorial Teams.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Advisory Industry: The Senior Director, Editor In Chief Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Advisory Industry, Including Key Trends, Challenges, And Best Practices. This Knowledge Will Be Essential In Setting The Editorial Direction And Ensuring The Content Is Relevant And Impactful.

  • Excellent Writing And Editing Skills: The Senior Director, Editor In Chief Must Have Exceptional Writing And Editing Skills To Ensure All Content Produced By The Team Meets The Highest Standards Of Quality. They Should Also Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Provide Constructive Feedback To Improve The Work Of Others.

  • Strategic Thinking And Decision-Making Abilities: This Role Requires Someone Who Can Think Strategically And Make Sound Decisions To Drive The Success Of The Advisory Insights Publication. The Senior Director, Editor In Chief Should Be Able To Analyze Data, Identify Insights, And Use Them To Guide The Editorial Strategy And Direction.
