  1. Conduct in-depth research and analysis of state and local tax laws and regulations, specifically in the area of sales and use tax.
  2. Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on complex tax issues and help them navigate through changing tax laws.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored tax solutions.
  4. Prepare and review tax returns and other compliance documents accurately and in a timely manner.
  5. Proactively identify tax planning opportunities for clients and assist in implementing tax-saving strategies.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and assist in resolving any tax-related issues that may arise for clients.
  7. Stay updated on industry developments and changes in tax laws to ensure compliance and provide value-added services to clients.
  8. Mentor and coach junior team members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  9. Represent the firm in meetings and presentations with clients, showcasing a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations.
  10. Maintain high-quality standards and adhere to ethical and professional standards set by the firm.
  11. Collaborate with other senior associates and partners to improve processes and drive efficiency in tax services.
  12. Participate in business development activities, including networking and proposal development, to expand the firm's client base.
  13. Continuously strive to enhance your knowledge and expertise in state and local tax laws and regulations through training and professional development opportunities.
  14. Adhere to strict deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate completion of work.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In State & Local Tax, With A Focus On Sales And Use Tax.

  • Strong Understanding Of Relevant Tax Laws And Regulations.

  • Cpa Or Other Professional Certification Preferred.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Client Relationships.
