
Senior Associate, Evidence and Discovery Management
KPMG is looking for an experienced and well-rounded Senior Associate to join our Evidence and Discovery Management team. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team that manages the preservation, collection and review of electronically stored information (ESI) for a variety of complex disputes, investigations and regulatory proceedings. We are looking for someone who is driven to succeed, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering quality work.To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of four years of experience in electronic discovery and/or litigation support in a law firm, consulting firm or corporate legal department. You must also possess a comprehensive knowledge of the legal and technological aspects of the e-discovery process, including the preservation, collection, processing, review and production of ESI. Additionally, you should have experience managing and directing vendors, as well as a technical aptitude for working with a variety of applications, such as Relativity, Concordance and eDiscoveryPoint. Finally, excellent communication and organizational skills are a must.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct vendors in the electronic discovery process.
- Ensure the preservation, collection, processing, review and production of ESI is in accordance with legal and technological requirements.
- Utilize eDiscoveryPoint, Relativity and Concordance applications to ensure quality and accuracy of ESI.
- Develop workflows to facilitate the efficient handling of complex e-discovery disputes, investigations and regulatory proceedings.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on technical aspects of e-discovery practices.
- Monitor e-discovery activities to ensure compliance with client and KPMG standards.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of all e-discovery activities.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide timely and accurate updates on the progress of e-discovery efforts.
- Utilize excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues, as required.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest e-discovery trends and technologies.
