At KPMG, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager to join our team as a Workday Payroll expert.   1. Manage and oversee the Workday Payroll system for our clients, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll.
  2. Utilize in-depth knowledge and experience with Workday Payroll to provide expert guidance and support to clients and colleagues.
  3. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in Workday Payroll to continuously improve processes and procedures.
  4. Lead and mentor a team of payroll specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related issues.
  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their payroll needs and provide exceptional customer service.
  7. Monitor and analyze payroll data to identify and address any discrepancies or errors.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to payroll.
  9. Develop and implement training programs to educate clients and colleagues on Workday Payroll processes and procedures.
  10. Participate in the development and implementation of new payroll systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  11. Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and management to provide updates, report issues, and make recommendations for improvement.
  12. Maintain accurate and organized payroll records and documentation.
  13. Adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines when handling sensitive payroll information.
  14. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert for Workday Payroll, providing guidance and support to colleagues and clients as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience With Workday Payroll Software: Candidates For This Role Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Workday Payroll System, Including Configuration, Implementation, And Maintenance. They Should Also Be Familiar With Related Modules Such As Time Tracking And Absence Management.

  • Knowledge Of Payroll Processes And Regulations: A Manager, Workday Payroll Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Payroll Processing, Including Tax Regulations, Labor Laws, And Compliance Requirements. They Should Also Have Experience With Multi-State And International Payrolls.

  • Leadership And Team Management Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Lead A Team Of Payroll Professionals And Collaborate With Other Departments To Ensure Accurate And Timely Payroll Processing. Candidates Should Have Experience Managing A Team And Possess Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills.

  • Project Management Experience: Kpmg Is A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Organization, And The Manager, Workday Payroll Will Be Responsible For Managing Various Payroll Projects. Candidates Should Have Experience In Project Management, Including Planning, Budgeting, And Execution.

  • Industry Expertise: Kpmg Serves Clients In Various Industries, And The Manager, Workday Payroll Should Have Experience In At Least One Of These Industries. This Could Include Healthcare, Finance, Technology, Or Retail, Among Others. In-Depth Knowledge Of Industry-Specific Payroll Processes And Regulations Is A Plus.
