Job Description

KPMG is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Manager, Research & Development Tax Credits to join our Tax Credits and Incentives team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the field of Research and Development and will be excited to explore all aspects of the industry. This position will be responsible for providing guidance and advice to clients across a variety of industries in order to maximize the benefits of their R&D tax credits.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of R&D tax credits, ideally from a consulting or professional services background. We are looking for someone with strong technical skills in the field, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate should also have experience working with clients to analyze complex tax issues and develop innovative solutions.This is a great opportunity to join a team of experienced professionals in the exciting and growing field of R&D tax credits. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide guidance and advice to clients across a variety of industries to maximize the benefits of their R&D tax credits.
  2. Analyze complex tax issues and develop innovative solutions.
  3. Support clients with processes related to R&D tax credits, such as filing applications, determining eligibility, and gathering supporting documentation.
  4. Monitor changes in R&D tax laws and regulations and advise clients of any impacts to their existing programs.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
  6. Prepare and deliver presentations to clients on the benefits of R&D tax credits.
  7. Manage day-to-day operations of the R&D tax credits team, including setting goals and objectives.
  8. Ensure quality control of all deliverables and provide feedback and guidance to team members.
  9. Collaborate with other members of KPMG’s Tax Credits and Incentives team to identify potential opportunities for clients.
  10. Develop and implement policies and procedures related to R&D tax credits.
