Job Description

KPMG is seeking a Manager of Public Affairs with excellent communication skills and a passion for public relations to join our team. Our ideal candidate has an understanding of the media landscape and a knack for developing compelling stories. The successful applicant will be a strategic thinker, a solutions-oriented problem solver, and a leader with a natural curiosity and enthusiasm for the work.This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field, with at least five years of professional experience in public relations, corporate communications, or related field. Previous experience in a public affairs role in a large organization is a plus. The Manager of Public Affairs must also possess superior written and verbal communication skills, be able to work well with a variety of people, and be a team-player with a positive attitude.If you have the qualifications and experience to excel in this role, and would like to be part of a world-leading professional services firm, we would like to hear from you.

Responsibilities for this role include:

  1. Developing and executing effective public affairs strategies for KPMG
  2. Building relationships with the media and other stakeholders to ensure maximum coverage
  3. Creating compelling stories to support KPMG’s public relations activities
  4. Monitoring and evaluating the media landscape to identify trends and opportunities
  5. Writing press releases, media advisories, and other related materials
  6. Managing the company’s public relations budget
  7. Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  8. Advising senior management on public affairs matters
  9. Representing KPMG at public events and meetings
  10. Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in the public affairs sector.
