- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the offshore delivery model, ensuring it aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage a team of offshore delivery specialists, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to drive their professional growth and development.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the offshore delivery team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, increasing efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.
- Act as a liaison between the offshore delivery team and client-facing teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals and objectives.
- Conduct regular training and development sessions for the offshore delivery team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to offshore outsourcing and project management, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance the delivery model.
- Develop and maintain relationships with offshore vendors, ensuring quality and timely delivery of services.
- Monitor and manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered within scope and on schedule.
- Act as a change agent, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the offshore delivery team.
Strong Understanding Of Offshore Delivery Models: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Knowledge And Experience Working With Offshore Delivery Models, Including Outsourcing, Offshoring, And Distributed Teams. They Should Be Able To Effectively Design, Implement, And Manage Such Models To Drive Efficiency And Cost Savings For The Organization.
Project Management Skills: A Manager In This Role Should Possess Excellent Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Create Project Plans, Set Timelines, Allocate Resources, And Manage Project Budgets. They Should Also Have Experience With Agile Methodologies And Other Project Management Tools To Effectively Lead Cross-Functional Teams.
Experience Working In A Global Environment: As The Job Involves Managing Offshore Teams And Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams Across Different Geographies, The Candidate Should Have Experience Working In A Global Environment. This Includes Familiarity With Cultural Nuances, Time Zone Differences, And The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Diverse Teams.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Manager Should Possess Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Identify Process Improvement Opportunities And Address Any Issues That May Arise In The Offshore Delivery Model. They Should Be Able To Analyze Data, Spot Trends, And Make Data-Driven Decisions To Optimize Processes And Drive Results.
