Job Description

KPMG is seeking a highly skilled Manager to join our team and lead our IT Asset Management efforts. As a Manager in this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our company's technology assets are optimized and aligned with our business goals.   1. Develop and implement strategic plans for IT asset management, in alignment with overall business objectives.
  2. Manage and oversee the entire IT asset lifecycle, from procurement to disposal, ensuring optimal utilization and cost-effectiveness.
  3. Monitor and track IT assets, ensuring accuracy and completeness of asset information and records.
  4. Conduct regular audits to verify compliance with asset management policies and procedures.
  5. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline asset management processes and increase efficiency.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper integration of new assets into existing systems and processes.
  7. Monitor and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective procurement of IT assets.
  8. Stay updated on industry best practices and technologies related to IT asset management.
  9. Train and mentor team members on asset management processes and procedures, ensuring a high level of expertise within the team.
  10. Communicate and report on asset management metrics and performance to senior management.
  11. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to IT asset management.
  12. Lead and motivate a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful execution of asset management initiatives.
  13. Collaborate with other IT managers to ensure alignment of asset management efforts with overall IT strategy.
  14. Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations when managing IT assets containing sensitive information.
  15. Continuously evaluate and optimize asset management tools and systems to support the evolving needs of the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Information Technology, Computer Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In It Asset Management, Preferably In A Consulting Or Professional Services Environment.

  • Strong Understanding Of It Asset Management Principles And Best Practices, Including Software Licensing, Procurement, And Inventory Management.

  • Experience With Leading It Asset Management Tools And Technologies, Such As Servicenow, Flexera, Or Snow Software.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Clients.
