Job Description

KPMG is seeking a Manager of Financial Due Diligence for our Healthcare and Life Sciences team, who will play a crucial role in analyzing and assessing the financial aspects of potential transactions for our clients.   1. Conduct financial due diligence: The Manager of Financial Due Diligence will be responsible for conducting thorough and accurate financial due diligence for potential transactions in the healthcare and life sciences industry.
  2. Analyze financial data: This individual will be responsible for analyzing financial statements, projections, and other relevant data to assess the financial health and potential risks of a transaction.
  3. Understand accounting principles: The Manager of Financial Due Diligence must have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to apply them to evaluate financial information.
  4. Provide recommendations: Based on their analysis, this individual will provide recommendations to clients on potential risks and opportunities associated with a transaction and assist them in making informed and strategic business decisions.
  5. Collaborate with team members: The Manager of Financial Due Diligence will work closely with other team members, including other managers, to gather and analyze data, share insights, and develop recommendations for clients.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends: This individual will be responsible for staying current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in the healthcare and life sciences industry to provide informed recommendations to clients.
  7. Communicate findings: The Manager of Financial Due Diligence will be responsible for effectively communicating their findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and concise manner.
  8. Manage client relationships: This individual will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and providing excellent customer service.
  9. Meet project deadlines: The Manager of Financial Due Diligence will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring that all deadlines are met.
  10. Mentor junior team members: This individual will have the opportunity to mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field

  • Cpa Or Other Relevant Professional Certification

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Lead A Team.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Financial Due Diligence, Preferably In The Healthcare Or Life Sciences Industry

  • Strong Understanding Of Financial Reporting And Analysis, Including Gaap And Ifrs
