Job Description

At KPMG, we are looking for a Manager, Finance & Accounting to join our team and help take our finance and accounting processes to the next level. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial expertise and guidance to the business, as well as developing and implementing strategies to drive profitability and operational efficiency.To be successful in this position, you will need to have excellent financial acumen and a strong understanding of accounting principles. You will also need to have the ability to work collaboratively with other departments across the organization, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will also be a self-starter, able to work independently to identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance and accounting operations.If you are an experienced finance and accounting professional looking for a challenging and rewarding role with an established and respected firm, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide financial expertise and guidance to the business to help drive profitability and operational efficiency.
  2. Develop and implement financial strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the finance and accounting operations.
  3. Maintain and update accounting records and ensure accuracy of financial reports.
  4. Monitor and analyze monthly financial performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  5. Prepare and present financial analysis reports to senior management.
  6. Collaborate with other departments across the organization to ensure accuracy of financial data.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, bankers, and vendors.
  8. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  9. Maintain a working knowledge of current and emerging accounting standards and practices.
  10. Identify and implement process improvements to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
