• Develop and implement credit risk strategies and policies for commercial clients, in alignment with industry regulations and company standards
• Analyze financial data, market trends, and other relevant information to assess credit risk and make informed decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, underwriting, and finance, to ensure effective risk management and client satisfaction
• Mentor and guide junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in credit risk management
• Stay updated on industry developments and best practices in credit risk management, and apply them to enhance our processes and procedures
• Conduct regular reviews and assessments of credit portfolios to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement
• Communicate and present risk management strategies and outcomes to senior management and other stakeholders
• Collaborate with external partners, such as credit rating agencies and auditors, to ensure compliance and mitigate potential risks
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of credit risk management strategies and make necessary adjustments as needed
