  1. Develop and implement risk management strategies for commercial credit clients.
  2. Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide strategic guidance to clients.
  3. Analyze financial data and market trends to identify potential risks and opportunities for clients.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop risk mitigation plans and solutions.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
  6. Communicate complex risk concepts and recommendations to clients in a clear and concise manner.
  7. Stay abreast of industry developments and regulatory changes related to commercial credit risk.
  8. Provide training and guidance to junior risk management professionals.
  9. Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored risk management solutions.
  10. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of risk management processes.
  11. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  12. Continuously evaluate and monitor the credit risk portfolio of clients and make adjustments as needed.
  13. Proactively identify and escalate potential risks or issues to senior management.
  14. Participate in business development activities and assist in acquiring new clients.
  15. Strive to continuously develop and enhance your own skills and knowledge in the field of risk management.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Credit Risk Management: A Successful Candidate For This Position Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Credit Risk Management, Preferably In The Commercial Lending Sector. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Credit Risk Assessment, Mitigation Strategies, And Regulatory Requirements.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Manager, Commercial Credit Risk At Kpmg Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Evaluate Complex Credit Structures And Identify Potential Risks. They Should Also Be Able To Develop Effective Risk Management Strategies To Mitigate These Risks.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Frameworks: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Regulatory Frameworks Governing Commercial Credit Risk, Including Basel Iii And Ifrs 9. They Should Be Able To Interpret And Apply These Regulations To Ensure Compliance And Minimize Risk Exposure.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Manager, Commercial Credit Risk, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Communicating Complex Credit Risk Concepts To Various Stakeholders, Including Clients, Senior Management, And Regulators. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role.

  • Leadership And Team Management Abilities: The Manager, Commercial Credit Risk Is Expected To Lead A Team Of Credit Risk Professionals And Provide Guidance And Support To Achieve Team Goals. The Candidate Should Have Proven Leadership Skills And The Ability To Foster A Collaborative Team Environment.
