Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to join our dynamic team in the Tax department. As an Executive Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our tax professionals and helping to drive the success of our clients.   1. Provide administrative support to tax professionals by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and making travel arrangements.
  2. Create and maintain organized and efficient filing systems for important documents and records.
  3. Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, and reports for the tax department.
  4. Coordinate and facilitate communication between the tax department and other departments within KPMG.
  5. Serve as the first point of contact for the tax department, greeting clients and visitors and handling phone calls and emails.
  6. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute department events and meetings.
  7. Conduct research and gather data to support tax projects and initiatives.
  8. Manage expenses and process invoices for the tax department.
  9. Proactively identify and address any potential scheduling conflicts or issues.
  10. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  11. Act as a liaison between the tax department and external vendors and service providers.
  12. Continuously seek ways to improve and streamline administrative processes within the tax department.
  13. Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by senior members of the tax department.
  14. Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and represent KPMG’s values and standards at all times.
  15. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to support the tax department’s success.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Knowledge Of Tax Laws And Regulations: A Successful Executive Assistant At Kpmg Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Tax Laws And Regulations To Effectively Support The Tax Team.

  • Excellent Organizational And Time Management Skills: As An Executive Assistant At Kpmg, One Must Be Able To Juggle Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Deadlines To Ensure Smooth Operations For The Tax Team.

  • Proficient In Microsoft Office And Tax Software: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience Using Microsoft Office Tools Such As Excel, Word, And Powerpoint, As Well As Tax Software Like Thomson Reuters Or Cch.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As The First Point Of Contact For Clients And Colleagues, An Executive Assistant At Kpmg Must Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Represent The Company.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Tax Or A Related Field: Kpmg Looks For Candidates With A Strong Background In Tax Or A Related Field, With At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role. This Ensures That The Candidate Has The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Support The Tax Team Effectively.
