Job Description

As the Director of Business Development at KPMG for Salesforce in the Federal sector, you will play a critical role in driving growth and expanding our presence in the government market. This is a unique opportunity to lead a team and be at the forefront of driving innovative solutions for our clients. We are seeking a seasoned business development professional with a strong understanding of the federal market and a proven track record of success in selling Salesforce solutions.   1. Develop and implement a strategic plan for business development in the federal sector, in collaboration with senior leadership.
  2. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the government market, leveraging existing relationships and creating new ones.
  3. Lead and manage a team of business development professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve team goals and objectives.
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and delivery teams, to develop and execute effective sales strategies and solutions for clients.
  5. Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed of industry trends and government regulations, and use this knowledge to identify potential business opportunities.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the federal government, including agencies, departments, and prime contractors.
  7. Drive the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and successful deal closures.
  8. Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to showcase KPMG's Salesforce solutions and capabilities to potential clients.
  9. Act as a subject matter expert on Salesforce solutions, staying up-to-date on product developments and industry best practices.
  10. Monitor and report on sales metrics and performance, providing regular updates to senior leadership and making recommendations for improvement.
  11. Represent KPMG at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, promoting our brand and expanding our presence in the federal market.
  12. Stay current on competitor activities and market trends, and use this knowledge to adjust and improve our business development strategies.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Marketing, Or A Related Field.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Key Stakeholders.

  • Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Business Development, Preferably In The Salesforce (Federal) Industry.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Driving Revenue Growth And Developing Strategic Partnerships.

  • Strong Understanding Of The Federal Government Procurement Process And Regulations.
