- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored accounting solutions.
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals, providing guidance and support to help them grow and excel in their roles.
- Conduct in-depth financial analyses and research to provide strategic and technical accounting advice to clients.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the highest level of service and expertise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tax, audit, and consulting, to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
- Identify opportunities for business development and actively participate in proposal development and client presentations.
- Manage client engagements, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of services within budget constraints.
- Implement processes and procedures to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Accounting Advisory Services team.
- Represent the firm and the Accounting Advisory Services team at industry events and conferences.
- Uphold KPMG's core values and promote a culture of integrity, excellence, and teamwork within the team and across the firm.
Cpa Certification: A Director In The Accounting Advisory Services Department At Kpmg Should Have A Cpa (Certified Public Accountant) Certification, Demonstrating A Strong Understanding Of Accounting Principles And Practices.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Accounting: A Strong Educational Background In Accounting Is Essential For This Role. A Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field Is Typically Required.
Extensive Experience In Public Accounting: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Public Accounting, Preferably With A Big Four Firm. This Experience Will Ensure A Deep Understanding Of Complex Accounting Issues And Regulations.
Strong Leadership Skills: As A Director, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading And Managing A Team Of Accounting Professionals. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Mentor And Develop Staff, Are Essential.
Client-Facing Experience: This Position Requires Regular Interaction With Clients, So Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are A Must. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Managing And Building Relationships With Clients, As Well As A Track Record Of Providing Exceptional Client Service.
