Job Description

KPMG LLP is looking for an experienced, energetic and motivated Associate, Trade & Customs to join our team and help drive our business forward. This individual must have a strong background in international trade and customs compliance, ideally with a working knowledge of North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and World Trade Organization (WTO) regulations.The ideal candidate for this role should have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a passion for working in the international trade and customs industry. The Associate, Trade & Customs will be a key member of our team, providing guidance and advice to clients on international trade and customs compliance matters. In order to be successful in this role, the Associate, Trade & Customs must have the following qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in law, international trade, accounting, finance or related field• Minimum of 3 years of experience in international trade and customs compliance• Knowledge of NAFTA and WTO regulations• Excellent communication and writing skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Demonstrated project management and problem solving skills• Ability to work with clients in a professional and courteous manner
