KPMG is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate to join our AMCS R&D Tax team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients and utilize your tax expertise to help them maximize their research and development tax credits.   1. Conduct thorough research and analysis of client's research and development activities to identify potential tax credit opportunities.
  2. Prepare and review tax calculations and documentation to support research and development tax credit claims.
  3. Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and explain tax concepts and regulations.
  4. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations related to research and development tax credits.
  5. Collaborate with team members to develop innovative solutions to complex tax issues.
  6. Assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies for clients.
  7. Maintain accurate and organized records of client engagements and deliverables.
  8. Provide proactive and timely updates to clients on the status of their tax credit claims.
  9. Continuously seek ways to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  10. Attend training and professional development opportunities to enhance tax knowledge and skills.
  11. Represent the company in a professional manner and maintain client confidentiality.
  12. Mentor and train junior team members to develop their tax expertise.
  13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  14. Adhere to ethical standards and comply with all tax laws and regulations.
  15. Take ownership of projects and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.

  • Cpa Or Other Relevant Professional Certification Preferred.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Tax Consulting Or Compliance, With A Focus On R&D Tax Credits.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Tax Laws And Regulations Related To R&D Tax Credits.
