Job Description

KPMG is looking for an experienced and motivated Associate Director, Security Monitoring and Response to join our team. In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of our security monitoring and response strategy. You will be responsible for ensuring that our monitoring systems are running optimally and providing actionable insights to our security operations team.We are looking for someone with a strong technical background and proven experience in security monitoring and response. You should have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a passion for cybersecurity. Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development and implementation of a security monitoring and response strategy.
  2. Monitor and analyze security incidents and provide actionable insights to the security operations team.
  3. Develop and maintain security monitoring systems to ensure optimal performance.
  4. Implement and maintain best practices for security monitoring and response.
  5. Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
  6. Research the cyber threat landscape and keep abreast of any changes.
  7. Manage security monitoring and response projects and initiatives.
  8. Create and maintain security policies and procedures.
  9. Create and deliver reports to management and stakeholders.
  10. Collaborate with other teams to ensure security monitoring and response operations are properly integrated.
