Job Description

KPMG is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Associate Director, Security Monitoring and Response who is passionate about security and risk management. Our ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, problem solver, and have a deep understanding of security monitoring and incident response.This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field and at least 10 years of experience in information security or related field with a proven track record in developing and leading security monitoring and incident response programs. Candidates must possess a deep understanding of security monitoring and incident response processes and technologies, strong technical and analytical problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and leadership abilities.The successful candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities: • Develop and lead security monitoring and incident response programs • Implement security monitoring and incident response processes and technologies • Monitor network and system activity for potential security incidents • Investigate and respond to security incidents • Analyze security threats and vulnerabilities • Develop and implement security policies and procedures • Assist in the creation of security awareness training materials • Educate users on proper security protocols • Keep abreast of the latest security threats and trends • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure security compliance • Collaborate with other security teams to ensure comprehensive coverage • Prepare and present reports on security incidents and trends
