Associate Director, ESG Assurance Specialist

KPMG is looking for an experienced Associate Director, ESG Assurance Specialist to join our team of professionals. Our ideal candidate has a passion for environmental, social, and governance assurance, and is committed to helping companies build their ESG assurance capabilities. The successful candidate will have a combination of technical and interpersonal skills and will be responsible for leading assurance engagements and providing guidance to clients on ESG assurance matters.To be successful in this role, you must have the following qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; at least seven years of audit and/or assurance experience, CPA certification; proficiency with ESG assurance frameworks and standards; and experience leading and/or managing ESG assurance engagements. Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage ESG assurance engagements for KPMG clients.
2. Provide guidance and advice to clients on ESG assurance matters.
3. Develop policies, procedures, and review processes for ESG assurance engagements.
4. Develop ESG assurance frameworks and standards.
5. Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and developments in ESG assurance.
6. Prepare and present reports and recommendations on ESG assurance engagements.
7. Liaise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on ESG assurance matters.
8. Execute assurance engagements in accordance with applicable professional standards.
9. Develop and maintain relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
10. Contribute to the development of KPMG’s ESG assurance practice.
