Assistant General Counsel - Commercial Technology

KPMG is looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant General Counsel - Commercial Technology to join our diverse and fast-paced global legal team. In this position, you would be responsible for providing legal advice to our Technology group on all aspects of our technology transactions.You must have a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and be a member in good standing with the applicable Bar(s). You must also have at least 5 years of experience in a law firm, corporate legal department or combination thereof, with a focus on technology transactions.We are looking for a professional who is comfortable managing complex legal and business issues and has a passion for driving results. You should be a forward-thinking, creative problem-solver who is able to effectively manage multiple matters simultaneously. Your excellent communication and negotiation skills, along with your strong business acumen, will be essential to your success in this role.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal advice to the Technology group on all aspects of technology transactions.
2. Manage complex legal and business issues.
3. Negotiate contracts, agreements, and other documents.
4. Ensure the legal protection of the company from any potential liabilities.
5. Draft and review legal documents and contracts.
6. Research legal issues and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
7. Advise clients on legal risks and options.
8. Develop and implement strategies to resolve legal disputes.
9. Represent the organization in court, arbitration, or mediation.
10. Collaborate with internal departments to provide legal guidance.
