Manufacturing Supervisor

Responsible for the supervision of associates including, but not limited to establishing daily work activities, monitoring performance, providing feedback, facilitating on-the-job training, collaborating with other functional areas (i.e. engineering, quality, purchasing, Sales) and reinforcing Leading Boldly among all team members. Accountable for the overall safety of work team(s). Thoroughly understand the proper usage of equipment within the work teams, and assist /coordinate accident analysis and safety audits. Understand the basic principles of OSHA and EPA regulations, as well as Kohler Co. safety policies and procedures. Identify problems pertaining to process. Make suggestions for improvement and participate in resolution of those problems. Support the use of continuous improvement tools (kaizen events, 5S audits, etc) by the work teams. Prepare reports, work on special projects and perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
