
Wound Care Coordinator
Are you an experienced healthcare professional looking for a new challenge? Kindred Healthcare is seeking an enthusiastic and organized Wound Care Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the wound care program for our facility. Our ideal candidate will be a results-oriented individual with a passion for coordination and management of wound care programs. The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice• Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years of experience in wound care• Knowledge of Federal and State regulations• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills• Ability to multitask and work independentlyIf you are an experienced healthcare professional looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the wound care program for the facility.
- Maintain knowledge of Federal and State regulations.
- Develop and implement wound care plans and protocols.
- Monitor the progress of wound care patients and document results.
- Educate patients, families, and staff about wound care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure proper wound care.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Monitor and order supplies for wound care program.
- Provide administrative support for the wound care program.
- Maintain patient records in an organized and secure manner.
