  1. Provide respiratory treatments and therapies to patients in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
  2. Monitor and assess patient response to treatments and adjust therapy as needed.
  3. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  4. Educate patients and their families on respiratory care, disease management, and equipment use.
  5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
  6. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards in the delivery of respiratory care.
  7. Keep current with advancements and changes in respiratory therapy techniques and equipment.
  8. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
  9. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive attitude towards patients, their families, and coworkers.
  10. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and sensitivity towards patients and their unique needs.
  11. Prioritize and manage workload effectively to ensure timely and quality care for all patients.
  12. Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions with patients and colleagues.
  13. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  14. Attend continuing education and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in respiratory therapy.
  15. Take on additional responsibilities and tasks as needed to support the overall functioning of the respiratory therapy department.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Current And Valid State Licensure As A Respiratory Therapist.

  • Ability To Work Independently And Make Critical Decisions In A Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy Or Related Field.

  • Proficiency In Operating And Troubleshooting Respiratory Equipment And Devices.
