  1. Provide respiratory therapy services to patients in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  2. Develop individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs and conditions.
  3. Monitor and assess patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  4. Administer various respiratory treatments, including oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and chest physiotherapy.
  5. Educate patients and their families on proper respiratory care techniques and equipment usage.
  6. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
  7. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and evaluations.
  8. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
  9. Keep abreast of new developments and advancements in respiratory therapy, incorporating them into practice when appropriate.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
  11. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions with patients and their families.
  12. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
  13. Attend regular staff meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  14. Serve as a role model and mentor to less experienced respiratory therapists.
  15. Continuously strive to improve patient outcomes and overall quality of care.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current And Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (Rrt) Credential Issued By The National Board For Respiratory Care (Nbrc).

  • Active State Licensure As A Respiratory Therapist, In Good Standing.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Previous Experience As A Registered Respiratory Therapist In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Long-Term Care Or Rehabilitation Facility.

  • Strong Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Quickly Assess And Respond To Patients' Respiratory Needs.
